Kahk Al Eid

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo Rehana flour
  • 2 1/2 cups margarine
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon Rehana powder sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method :
 
1 - Add the flour and salt to a clean bowl.
2 - Add the sesame.
3 - Heat the margarine in another bowl until it melt.
4 - Put ghee above flour and my heart well.
5 - When the margarine cools, rub the flour and margarine mixture by hand.
6 - Stir the yeast and sugar in warm water.
7 - Add to the dough and mix well.
8 - Let the dough ferment for 1 hour.
9 - Form the dough into small balls of equal size.
10 - Press in the oven.
11 - Engrave the Kahk with the chisels and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
12 - Sprinkle the powdered sugar before serving.
